Up Coming Events
Spring Art Contest - Juried - Open to all members and all mediums. A non-refundable entry fee of $10.00 includes the submission of up to 3 paintings. You may present slides, digital photos, or if you prefer, submit your work in person to the Millsboro Art League from April 10th - April 17th. Submission hours will be: 10am - 4pm on April 10th and 17th, 10am - 12 noon on April 12th - April 16th, Easter Sunday, April 11th from 6pm- 8 pm. Cash awards will be granted. Reception and awards will be presented April 24th from 6pm - 8pm. For further information contact Dwight Hastings at 732-6173.
Big Thursday
We will be participating in the Big Thursday celebration in Millsboro during August . A bake sale, raffles, outside art exhibit, etc. will be occurring at the league. Volunteers will be needed!
Saturday Open Paint
Every 2nd Saturday of the month starting March 13th! Come join us at the Millsboro Art League, from 10am - 1pm, to paint and socialize, take advantage of the new matt cutter, and enjoy refreshments with old and new friends! Critique classes to coincide 4 times a year with Sat. open paint are also being considered. A chance to bring in a work in progress or finished piece to get suggestions, help, or constructive criticism. Critique group to start June 12th with a $2.00 fee to participate. Members may bring up to 3 works for critiquing.

M.A.L. 16th Annual Dinner Meeting
The annual dinner meeting will be on Sunday, May 23rd from 12 noon - 5:00pm. Please come join us! Don�t forget to reserve your seat and pay Sally Doak(make check out to Millsboro Art League) by May 5th. Hope to see you there!Workshops and Classes
Decorative Painting (Acrylic)
Instructor: Sally Doak Intermediate Level Class - Tuesday 9:30 am - 12:30 pm. Given every Tues. through April 13th. Beginner Level Class (continuation from basic classes) - Wednesday 6:30pm - 9:30 pm. Given every Wednesday night through April 14th. It is not too late to join either class. Just call Sally Doak, at 945-9729, to preregister. Class fee: $10.00. Paints and supplies provided by the student.
Thursday Paint Classes
Instructor: Alice Hudson All medium - Beginner to experienced welcomed! Classes are currently in progress until May from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Cost: $7.00 per class - To register call Alice Hudson at 934-8711.
Watercolor Class - All levels
Instructor: Dorothy Harrison Braun Date: April 28th Time: 9:30 am - 3:30 pm Cost: $15.00 Masking medium should be included with your supplies. To register contact: Terry Siomkajlo at 945-0830. Bring lunch

Herbert T. Metz, a regular at our Thursday open paint sessions, passed away in January. He is greatly missed.
Anne Hanna was featured under the Arts and Entertainment section of the Coastal Point. For those who have not seen the article, it is posted on the bulletin board . She will be displaying 12 new paintings at the Penninsula Gallery in Lewes beginning April 14th.
Dwight Hastings won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the People�s Choice Replica Contest put on by the Dover Art League. Congratulations, Dwight!
Arlene Bogie is featured artist for the month of March.
Russell Ray�s works are displayed at the Millsboro library this month (March).
Louise Cerino and Margaret(Peggy) Dittmar will have their works displayed in the Millsboro library in April.Next board meeting - April 3rd - All members are invited to attend.
