Program Description

​

This workshop is ideal for beginners and those who may need skill refreshment. Basic drawing skills in pencil, charcoal or conte crayon will be taught. Learn about line, value, gesture, and perspective; develop the ability to "see" as artists. We will work from still life, photographs, and the figure. See supply list for other materials.

• Graphite Pencil set (Derwent or Prismacolor)

• Sketch pad, 11 x 14 or larger

• Bristol pad, 11 x 14 (smooth or vellum)

• white plastic eraser

• 12" clear ruler
