Biography of Jane Knaus
Jane Knaus retired from Montgomery College in Maryland as creative director, and has been very happy to live in Rehoboth Beach for a number of years—resuming her love of painting.
Jane attended the University of California at Berkeley, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree; she studied with Elmer Bischoff, Karl Katzen, and David Simpson. She attended George Washington University, and has a degree in Publication Design.
Jane has exhibited her work in Europe and in the United States; her paintings are in numerous private collections.
Jane Knaus is a prize-winning graphic designer, winning national recognition for her publication and exhibit design work. Jane has also been a judge in a local juried art exhibit in Millsboro, Delaware, as well as having been featured in Beach Life magazine.
She is a member of the Rehoboth Art League and the Delaware Shore Artists Group (DSAG). Her work can be viewed on facebook and she can be reached at or at 302.604.4518
